Dr. Becker is the founder and medical director of the Becker Nose and Sinus Center. Also, he is Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Facial Plastic Surgery, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Becker is board certified in the practice of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), which can be contacted at 703 549-3223 or via www.abfprs.org, and by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABO). He serves on the Resource Development Committee of the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) in which capacity he prepares questions for the ABFPRS National Board Examination.

Dr. Becker has published over 70 articles in the medical literature on various topics including rhinoplasty, facelift, cosmetic eyelid surgery, laser resurfacing, and liposhaving, and is also the co-author of a textbook on Rhinoplasty.

Since 1997, he has been the director of the University of Pennsylvania Aesthetic and Functional Rhinoplasty Course which has attracted surgeons from over 38 states and 11 countries. Dr. Becker also lectures nationally and internationally on a variety of topics in facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Becker has been an innovator in facial plastic surgery instrumentation and technology. He holds a US patent on the liposhaver, a device for the minimally traumatic removal of fat in the facial region that is most commonly used in the correction of the "double chin." He has designed numerous specialty surgical instruments now used in facial plastic surgery. Also, Dr. Becker is co-Editor-in-Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery, an international journal for facial plastic surgeons.
